The LOBE's Wireless Headsets & Microphones offer unequaled speech recognition accuracy.

Here's why:
The voice bandwidth (frequency range) speech recognition engines use,
particularly Microsoft's which the LOBE is optimized for,
is 60Hz - 8kHz, which is where the majority of speech data is found.
Microsoft's Desktop recognizers for both Windows XP, Office 2003,
and the upcoming Windows Vista sample voice signal at 16khz, and perform
definitively better with the entire eight kilohertz voice bandwidth allowed.

All the LOBE systems use true "speech recognition specification" microphones;
their frequency response is from 60kHz to 10.5kHz.
Other commercially available headsets incorporate "toll quality" microphones,
that capture only telephone range bandwidth, usually 400Hz - 3.5 - 4.5kHz, at best.
* The LOBE is optimized for Microsoft's recognizers.

Years of psychoacoustic research tell us our hearing perceptions
are very good at extrapolating (filling in what isn't there)
which is why we can usually hear each other fairly well on the telephone;
since telephones and toll-quality (telephone) headsets only allow
about 300Hz to 3kHz or so voice bandwidth to travel along the networks.

However, the recognizers in speech recognition applications don't have
the capability to guess at what we're saying.. they can't extrapolate.
All they can work with is what they "hear", after our voice signal is
converted to digital, and sent to them to work with.

The system's microphones have extremely high accuracy with speech recognition
because they deliver to the recognizer over twice {on average} as much
wireless speech reproduction into the recognizer, vs. other commercially
available wireless headsets, digital, Bluietooth or analog or from any
other commercially available wireless microphones, Bluetooth or analog..

Having much more data on what you are saying sent to the recognizer
gives the speech engines much more to work with, providing extreme
accuracy in responding to your spoken words and figures.

The excellence of the LOBE's performance also lies, in not only
it's conversion of voice to digital; but it's wireless protocol that allows
the frequency range of what speech recognizer's work best from the microphone
to transmit from the headset, and off again from the base unit.
This technology (patent pending) is unavailable from any other unit.

Additionally, the entire system is optimized for maximized Signal to Noise (Wikipedia)
ratio, decreasing the level of electronic noise usually associated with wireless units.
The LOBE system's voice coder is unique and isn't anything like what other headsets offer -
So, you enjoy hands-free roaming while having the clearest wireless
voice delivery of any commercially available wireless unit.

Our Technical Data page (available soon) will detail exactly
what our headset does, and why it does this so
much better than any commercially available
digital wireless or wired headsets.
We welcome you to Google (research) our data
to make an informed decision about whether the LOBE's right for you.

We also provide aftermarket support for setup and training.
